Stunning vintage 14K yellow gold Order of the Eastern Star ring with colorful enamel star in red, blue, yellow, green, and white centered on a black onyx gemstone. Each of the colors symbolically represents character-building lessons exemplified by significant female biblical figures. Faithfulness, fidelity, purity, immortality, and charity and the virtues represented. The circular onyx is set in a raised mounting with the band having a detailed engraved design. An expressive keepsake, circa the 1930s. The ring is in good condition.
